John Klatte Obituary
John was married to the love of his life Ruth (Smith) Klatte for 73 years. John was known to be just a perfect gentleman. Some of Johns hobbies included Ice Skating, Fishing, and Music. However some of his best moments were reading a good book. Besides being Mr. Fixit, his greatest accomplishment and joy was spending time with his family. A lot of his time was devoted to his late handicapped son Thomas Klatte who passed away at 37. He was also a devoted Eucharistic Minister and a devout Catholic Parishioner and Usher at Sacred Heart Parish in Dover, NJ. He also worked as an Electrical Engineer for Bell Labs for 36 years.
John is predeceased by his parents Julius and Elizabeth Klatte and his sons Joseph Klatte and Thomas Klatte. He is survived by his wife Ruth Klatte, his children John D and Sandra Klatte of Randolph, Mary and Robert Bauerlein of Randolph, James and Diane Klatte of Colorado, Rita and Walt Roessler of Randolph and daughter In law Gale Klatte. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
There will be a private visitation for the immediate family at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10. Randolph, NJ 07869. There will be a public Mass at Sacred Heart Parish 4 Richards Avenue Dover, NJ 07801 on December 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Following Mass, Interment will take place at Locust Hill Cemetery 168 North Sussex Street Dover, NJ 07801 at 12;15 p.m. Please visit www.tuttlefh.com for more information or to leave an online condolence for the family.
