MURRAY, Ky. — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John A. Klein, age 69, who departed this life peacefully on Jan. 12, 2026, while diving in Little Cayman Island, his favorite place in the world.
John was born in Chicago, Ill., on May 4, 1956, the only child to Alfred and Dorothy Davison Klein.
John was a retired president of a global manufacturing company headquartered in Minnesota. He was also the former plant manager of Techno Trim in Maysville for several years in the 90's. John was currently a member of the Journey church in Murray, Ky., where he was a long-standing member of the security team.
John was also actively involved in his POA in the Western Shores community located on Kentucky Lake where he was currently serving as their President. John was always willing to help people and always giving of his time when needed. But what he loved most was spending time with family and fishing with his kids and grandkids on Kentucky Lake. He was a loving and devoted dad and papaw.

Besides his wife, he is survived by five children, Jennifer (Steve) Davis of Ala.; Jaime (Scott) Cornelius, of Union, Ky.; Jeremy (Tanya) Poe of Maysville; Joshua Poe of Brooksville; and Jillian (Pat) Tullock of St. Louis, Mo.
