John Joseph Klein Jr.

John Joseph Klein, Jr., of the 1800 block of Banning Rd., passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009. John was the retired owner of Andrews-Klein Machine Company. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. John was a U. S. Navy and Naval Reserve veteran and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Frances McMahon Klein; a daughter, Jane P. K. Hammond and husband Gary of Norfolk, VA; three sons, John J. Klein III of Florida, Michael Klein of Burlington, VT, and Robert F. Klein of Worcester, MA; and two grandchildren, Jonathan D. Hammond of Richmond, VA and Jennifer M. Hammond of New York City, NY. He was predeceased by a son, Phillip D. Klein. A private funeral service was held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial followed in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
