John "Jack" Klimowicz

John "Jack" Klimowicz, 82, of Downingtown, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. He was the husband of Mary (Gaspari) Klimowicz, sharing 62 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia on March 1, 1943, he was the son of the late John and Frances (Szastynski) Klimowicz. Jack graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School. He joined the United States Air Force and was a proud Veteran. He went on to work as an Electromechanical Technician. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he could always be found fixing something around the house. When he and his wife moved to The Woods at Rock Raymond 20 years ago, Jack joined the board and was known as "Mr. Mayor" in the community. In his retirement, he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, bird watching and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife Mary are his sons John A. Klimowicz, husband of Toni, of Morton, PA, James A. Klimowicz, husband of Leslie, of Quakertown, PA and Joseph A. Klimowicz, husband of Ladan, of Bryn Mawr, PA; grandchildren Victoria Devine (Matt), Antonina Klimowicz, Anna Klimowicz, Kalle Klimowicz, Jeanette Klimowicz, Tessa Klimowicz, and Ella Klimowicz; sister Marie Huller, wife of the late Kenneth, brother-in-law Richard Scheel, husband of Jack's late sister, Helen Scheel, brother-in-law Al Gaspari, husband of Marie; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Visitation will be from 9:45 – 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
