John Kocik

John Kocik, age 89, passed away peacefully at Wilson Hospital on May 2, 2024. He was predeceased by his son John Kocik, brother Edward Kocik and wife Alice, sister Margaret Cherevko and husband John, sister Helen Kocik, sister Rita Marvell, brother-in laws Ramon Palazzo and Richard Kocik and parents John and Helen Kocik. He is survived by his devoted brother Joseph Kocik and wife Alice, sister Veronica Kocik, sister Barbara Banas and husband Bruce, sister Mary Ann Palazzo, brother Jim Kocik and wife Kathy, brother-in law John Marvell, and the mother of his children, Patricia Kocik. He is also survived by his son Christopher Kocik and wife Greta, daughter Lori Cone and husband Terry, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was a Veteran of the US Coast Guard and a US Postal worker. We are eternally grateful for his attentive caregivers. He loved Classic Movies and was a great cook and gardener in his heyday.
Funeral services will be held at St Ambrose Catholic Church in Endicott on July 29th at 11:00. There will be a private burial at Calvary Cemetery.
