John David Lambert, 76, passed away peacefully at home from kidney failure on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

He was born July 19, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to Hubert and Alice Lambert. He was raised in Farmington and was a Davis Dart through and true. Family was everything to him including his 7 siblings, 4 children and loving Grandma close by, who invested much into his upbringing.

He married Sheryl Cutler, June 6, 1969 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. At the time John was attending the University of Utah Majoring in metallurgical engineering. This soon changed to his new passion right before the birth of their first child he graduated with his Doctorate in Pharmacy. He worked in many location throughout the valley and eventually settled at the Utah State Hospital. He loved his time there and the many friendships established. He eventually retired after 20 years of service.

Later he married Katie Williams Jensen, May 8, 2013. They spent many happy years together.

John was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He love the gospel dearly and had a deep faith in our Savior. Service and education were very important to him and continued throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Katie Jensen Lambert. His children; Trudy, Mandi, Laurie and Trevor Lambert. Siblings; Hubert (Sharon) Lambert, Barbara Lawson, Mary Miller, Carol (Darrell)Schlecht, Jenny Lambert, Roberta Pratt, Fredrick (Syndy)Lambert & Franklin (Lisa) Lambert.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Hubert and Alice, his spouse Sheryl Lambert, brother Donavan, Brothers-in-law Fred Miller, Joe Lawson, David Pratt and Gary Townsend, and previous spouse Shirlene Lambert.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 1440 East 900 South, Springville, Utah 84663. A viewing for family and friends will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. and the funeral service will start at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
