John Dewayne Lee Connor

John Dewayne Lee Connor, better known as "John John", age 19 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. He was born in Luverne, Alabama on March 1, 2005 and spent a big part of his life in Georgiana, Alabama until moving to Gulf County in 2017.
John graduated from Wewahitchka High School in 2023 where he lettered in Basketball, Track, and Football. Whether it was building forts in the woods, camping, hunting, or fishing on the river, John enjoyed being outdoors with his friends. He loved his family fiercely and will be remembered as a peacekeeper.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jesse Connor and one brother, Brodie Connor.
John is survived by his father, John Oliver Connor of Wewahitchka, Florida; mother, Angela Kelsoe (Mark) of Clarksville, Florida; maternal grandmother, Betty Robinson of Ballykinler, Northern Ireland; paternal grandmother, Martha Duncan; two sisters, Zoe Connor (Brian Darnell) of Wewahitchka, Florida and Cheyenne Kendrick (Cody) of Georgiana, Alabama; one brother, Bailey Cox of Wewahitchka, Florida; three stepsisters, Sarah Kelsoe, Ava Kelsoe, and Anna Kelsoe; one niece, Madilyn Kendrick; two nephews, Ryker Kendrick and Kyler Kendrick. John is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins in Northern Ireland.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Wewahitchka High School Gym on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. Central Time.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M Central Time on Monday, April 22, 2024 at East Chapman Baptist Church in Georgiana, Alabama. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. Central Time at the church.
