John was born on April 3, 1932 and passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016. John was a resident of Pottsville, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. Jack was a proud graduate of Pottsville High School in 1950. He enlisted in the Air Force just prior to the Korean War. He was married to Carol. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Thursday June 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Schuylkill Memorial Park Schuylkill Haven. Family and friends may call at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 W. Market St. Pottsville Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville PA 17901 or Avenues 2 Park St. Pottsville PA 17901.
