John T. Lesko, of West Chester, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 24, 2025, at Chester County Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was 77 years old.

Born on April 23, 1948, in Morea, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, John lived a life marked by faith, devotion, and love for his family. For the past 50 years, he made his home in West Chester, where he was a dedicated parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church. His strong faith and commitment to his community were evident in the way he lived and served others, through the Boy Scouts of America program with Troop 105 in Exton, and as an annual retreatant with the Our Lady of Fatima group at St. Joseph's in the Hills Malvern Retreat House.

John proudly served his country as a Vietnam War veteran. After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Army, he applied the skills he had gained in power generation and communications throughout his career, working with dedication at O'Brien Machinery and later at Eastern Generator Sales & Service Inc.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Kathleen Lesko, his high school sweetheart, who was his source of joy throughout their marriage. He leaves behind his son, John T. Lesko, Jr. (Jessica), and his cherished twin grandsons, John and Jackson, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

John's life was defined by unwavering devotion to his faith and his family. He will be remembered for his good sense of humor, his loyal friendship, and his tireless work ethic-qualities that touched and enriched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. A private interment with Military Funeral Honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, which provides the West Chester community with medical services and educational programs, in John's memory.
