John F. Lipinsky, 86, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born June 16, 1936, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Mary (Grisko) and Steven Lipinsky.
He was the husband of Eileen (Takash) Lipinsky.
John was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
He served in the Air Force.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Stella Yarrish, Jean Mintz, Helen Miller, Sophie Novack; and brothers, Edward Lipinsky, Walter Lipinsky and Constantine "Custy" Lipinsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Monsignor Edward S. Zemanik officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:15 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
