A Bardstown resident, Mr. John Franklin "Frankie" Livers, Jr., age 66, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 26, 1958 in Bardstown to John Franklin and Irma Yocum Livers, Sr. Frankie was a retired employee of Barton 1792 Distillery and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and grilling out, and he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin "Frank" Livers, Sr., and a nephew, David Livers.
He is survived by a longtime companion, Theresa Newton, his daughter, Brooke Livers of Bardstown, his son, Dylan Livers of Lexington, his mother, Irma Livers of Bardstown, his siblings, Lana (Ben) Schultz, Danny (Wanda) Livers, both of Bardstown, his niece, Jessica Braun and 2 nephews, Dustin Elder and Daniel (Tamra) Livers.
Funeral services for Mr. John Franklin "Frankie" Livers, Jr. will be 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, Chaplain Ray Johnson and Steve Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Cremation will follow the service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to the Flaget Cancer Center or Hospice of Nelson County. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of services.
