Eva “Jane” Livers, 94, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of W. Kentucky. The Livermore native was born February 4, 1931, to the late Fred and Annie Stone Tichenor. Jane graduated from McLean County High School with the class of 1949. She was employed as a dietician at the Owensboro hospital before retiring after 28 years. Jane outlived all three of her husbands. She lived at the Rosevelt House before moving into Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing billiards at the Senior Center where she also volunteered, and reading romance novels. Jane had been an active member of Breckinridge United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Jane was also preceded in death by her husbands, Bennett Taylor, Otis Bartlett, and Bill Livers; daughter, Martha Stodgill, son, Douglas Taylor, siblings, James Tichenor, Melvin Tichenor, Rollie Tichenor, Irene Tichenor, and Flossie Tichenor; her dog, Ben.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Lisa Williams and husband Sam of Owensboro and Suzy Fischer and husband Calvin of Las Vegas, NV; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Sissy.
The funeral service will be noon Monday, December 29 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
