At Napoleon schools he worked in the press box for over 25 years at JV/Varsity football games and announced boys/girls' basketball and girls' softball for several years. John loved to be outdoors. He always was the proud owner of a fleet of well-maintained and heavily used John Deere tractors and a treasure trove of Worx Tools. With these he kept his home and the surrounding area beautiful.
