John “Johnny” Lovasz passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the age of 52 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Jade Lovasz (Mack); mother Anna Lovasz; brother Joe (Mary) Lovasz; nieces and nephews including Christine, the little sister he never wanted; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his father John and sister Maria.
Johnny was born and raised in Calgary, AB. He loved doing anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing at the cabin. His greatest love was his family. He was stubborn, had a great sense of humour, and was always sarcastic about everything.
A Funeral Service will be held for Johnny at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come early, starting at 1:00pm, and bring a photo of themselves with John to be placed with a goodbye message that they will write on his casket.
