John Lunden
John Philip Lunden passed away peacefully from liver cirrhosis in Phoenix, Arizona on March 14, 2026 at the age of 34. John was born November 20, 1991 in Chandler, Arizona, where he attended elementary school Kyrene del Cielo. He joined the New School for the Arts for middle school and high school where he excelled in ceramics and sketching. Despite his love of death metal, John had a sweet and gentle heart. He cherished his cats and dogs. He knew every detail of every Zelda video game. John will be remembered for his tasty meals, his pedantic banter, and his black hats. He is greatly missed by his mother Claudia, father Paul, sister Claire, brother-in-law Kagen, his nephews Sawyer and Summit, and his dear friends Zach, Brandon, Sabrina, and Nikki. A Celebration of Life will be held where he lived, in Cochise, Arizona, with close friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://www.breakthrought1d.org/ to support his nephew.
