John was predeceased by his mother Jane Lyden and his father John Lyden, as well as his sister and brother-in-law Edwina and Jack Robertson.
He not only loved his family and friends, but he had great affection for his numerous pets: Ninja, his cat, Lapan, his rabbit, five lizards and his three beta fish. John loved to cook and was an avid fan of several sports teams, including Notre Dame, Boston Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, and the Rams.

John J , as he was called, was my cousin. Yes, my Uncle and Jane were his parents, the youngest of both of their children. I lived in Branford with his Aunt Ronnie ( Veronica) and my father, Ed( Edward). His Aunts on my Mother!s side were Marion and Gladys( who lived in California), Peggy, Rose, Bobby( Barbara) Pal( Anne) and my Mother( Veronica- called Ronnie). John J´s father, John, was the only boy. John´s Mother, Mary King came from Ireland alone on a ship to New York, originally. She left Ireland and her father and brothers. Her Mother ,, had
passed early. My grandmother and John´s Mother married John Lyden. John met and married Jane and lived with her and her three children( Edwina with whom I briefly went to school, and who passed early )and her brothers,
O´Malley and Flannigan. I am sorry that John J has passed so suddenly and so young. I would appreciate any information on our family.
Please let me know where I can text or email any family pictures and please do the same. Sheryl Sejko Sanabria( Sherry)
