John Sparky "Jack" Lynde

Jack' Sparky' Lynde age 81, of Warrington, PA. beloved husband of Lydia (Paprocky). Loving father of John 3rd and Joelle Lynde, Michelle Keller and Rich, and the late Kelly Ann and Beverly. Grandfather of Cory, John IV, Brad, Drew, and Victoria. Great-grandfather of Cayden & Grayson. Brother of the late Barbara Paul, Emma Mae Grink, Charles & Joseph. Jack was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia, PA. He was a former Life Guard in Wildwood. He served his country in the US Army Airborne during Vietnam Era and earned his Green Beret. He was employed by Philadelphia Fire Dept for many years until he was injured on duty. Jack then worked for The Internal Revenue until his retirement in 2002. Jack also served as a Mason for over 51 years, served as Worshipful Master 4 times, and served on Masonic Funeral Detail. He was a member Frankford-Brown Lodge #751, The Valley of Philadelphia, Lulu Shrine, Lulu Clowns, NE Shrine Club, and a former member of Court 72 ROJ. Jack also worked at Richardson Funeral Home as a funeral assistant for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday evening May 21, 2023, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Masonic services at 7 pm. A viewing will continue Monday Morning May 22, 2023, from 9 am to 10 am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
Funeral Service to follow at 10 am on Monday.
Interment to follow in North Cedar Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia PA.
