He was born on June 16, 1941, and is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Bertilla (Schoppy) Maciejewski of Mount Carmel.
A man of few words, Jack was known for his unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community. He cherished time spent playing cards with his sons and nieces, fishing on quiet mornings, and tackling crosswords. Jack valued his religious community and found comfort in attending live-streamed Masses, especially in recent years. His deep faith guided him throughout his life.
Jack attended Mount Carmel Catholic High School, where he played basketball, baseball, and football. He dedicated his career to the former Gould Pumps in Ashland, where he worked as a Machinist and proudly served as president of the union for many years.
Jack was married to his beloved wife, Catherine for 60 years, a testament to their enduring partnership and love. He is survived by his sister, MaryAnn and her husband, William Brass of Atlas; sons, Stephen Maciejewski and his wife, Donna of Red Lion, and John Maciejewski of Kulpmont; grandchildren, Todd Maciejewski and his wife, Emily, Erica Maciejewski and her fiancé, Andrew, Amy Maciejewski, Jared Maciejewski and his husband, Joel, and Taylor Maciejewski; and great-grandchildren, Addison and Bruce Maciejewski.
