John Mann Obituary
John Lemuel Mann, 89, passed away May 7, 2023 in Ocala, FL. He was born in Jonesboro, NC on April 25, 1934.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann (Kelly) Mann, parents Hammett Glasgow and Lizzie Lee (Todd) Mann; brother Charles Lee Mann and son David Lemuel Mann.
John is survived by his loving companion Peggy Banks of Wildwood, FL; son Mark Mann of McLean, VA; daughter Lisa Crupi (Joseph) of Randolph, NJ; sister Margaret (Mann) Cox of Sanford, NC; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Jonesboro United Methodist Church, Sanford, NC on August 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM with visitation reception to follow.
Services were held on May 12, 2023 at Banks-Page-Theus Funeral Home in Wildwood, FL.
At a future date, John will rest at Arlington National Cemetery, DC.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a special charity of choice.
