In 1986, John married the love of his life, Marvera, and together they built a life filled with love and respect. They moved to Carolina Shores over 25 years ago, where they became cherished members of the community.

Serving two terms as a Carolina Shores Commissioner, he exemplified what it means to lead with integrity and humility.
