Dear Marianne,
it is only today, that I got knowledge about the death of Erich. As a member of your German family and friends I want to express my condolence to you and your children. My name is Ulrike, I visited you in september 1979 at your house with my friend Gabi. Today I discovered a number of photos with you and us. That made me curious to find some information about you in the internet. I am sad to learn Erich has passed away. In the name of my grandparents Alfred + and Elisabeth+ Rappenecker , my parents Andreas + and Maria + Müller and my brother Günter I want to send you this message. Before you left for the states you visited them sometimes in Frankfurt and they always enjoyed your company.
With best regards
Ulrike Müller

We will always have fond memories of Erich. He had great wit, great to talk to and always made us feel like part of his family. Great memories of all of us at Fallen Leaf Lake.
So sorry for your loss.

I had never met or known this person, but the tribute given to him and his legacy lifts this person to great heights. He immigrated to the U.S. in hopes to make a name for himself, which he did. This is something to be proud of and to celebrate his accomplishments. He has left a legacy for his friends and family. He may be gone but never will be forgotten. He now walks on the path of light, hand-in-hand with GOD. He has accomplished what he had set out to do, and now has earned the right to sleep and Rest In Peace. His life's work has now been passed to another to carry on in his footsteps. May his soul have a wonderful and glorious journey through eternity. He will be welcomed in heaven and walk through Saint Peter's Gate with his head held high and proud. Fare-thee well my friend and now Rest In Peace.
