John Lyle MARVER

Age 96 Passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2022, with Jeannie and Jennifer by his side. Preceded in death by parents, Slovie and Bernard Marver; and brothers, Charles and Robert I. Marver. Survived by the love of his life, Jeannie Steinberg Marver; brother, Joe Marver; loving children, Jennifer (Kurt) Muller, Metairie, LA, Robert (Nikki) Marver, Metairie, LA, Julie (William) Gotlieb, Cindy Katz, David (Naomi) Baer; grandchildren, Abigail and Brennan Muller, Sara (Andrew) Azorsky, Sophie Gotlieb, Sydney, Mia and Sammi Katz, Asher, Ari and Michael Baer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members. John was a proud veteran of the navy submarine service during WWII. He enjoyed a 45 year broadcasting career in radio station management and ownership. He was a 32nd degree Mason, Indianapolis Valley for 51 years.
