John Marzi, 90, of Pinellas Park, FL and Pipestem, WV passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born July 7, 1935 in Gary, WV he was the son of the late John and Agatha Marzi. John grew up in McDowell County and graduated from Gary High School. He joined the United State Army and served in the Korean War. He moved to Florida and worked as a Lineman for Florida Power and raised his family with his wife, Susan. John loved cruising, gardening, flea markets, and watching old spaghetti western movie. Most of all he loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Marzi, Thomas Michael Marzi; one sister, Mary Marzi Switch; and one son, John Mark Marzi. John is survived by his wife, Susan Lee Buell Marzi of Pinellas Park, FL; four daughters, Patricia Shedd of Pipestem, WV, Katherine Trador and husband Paul of Seminole, FL, Susan Marzi and husband Shayne Jackson of Pinellas Park, FL, and Mary Melissa Parks and husband James of Seminole, FL; one son, Anthony Marzi and wife Rachel of Rochelle, NJ; ten grandchildren, Eric Gray and wife Stephanie, Kristy Blake and husband Aaron Tori Roughton and wife Jordan, Zachary Trador and wife Mia, Jessica Marzi, Jennifer Marzi, Jacob Marzi, Ryan Clark, Lauren Parks, and Kaitlin Hodgdon and husband Hunter; and seven great-grandchildren, Kaden, Maximus, Sophie, Zoey, Jackson, Katie, and Kiara. In keeping with John’s wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
