John F. Maske, 75, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away at his home in Milton, Wisconsin on January 08, 2025, surrounded by his family. John was born on September 18, 1949, in Rock County Wisconsin to John H. and Frances L. Maske. He married Ramona Knutson September 26, 1970.
John was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for various companies in Southern Wisconsin. He eventually retired after working 25 years for the City of Janesville. John enjoyed woodworking and repairing various machines. But his passion was his grandchildren and family. He often traveled with his family, including a trip to Myrtle Beach South Carolina with the grandkids and trips each year to the apple orchard to celebrate his wedding anniversary. He was famous for taking his grandkids for rides on his scooter, including trips to Kwik Trip for shakes and treats.
John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ramona; his children: Chad Maske, Mandi (Apolonio) Zarate, and Adam Maske; his granddaughters: Adriana Zarate and McKenzie Zarate. He is also survived by his sisters: Josephine Sbarounis and Janice Brown; and his brother, Brad (Gwen) Maske.
He is preceded by his son, Jason Maske; his grandson, Max Maske; his brother in law, John Sbarounis and his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 pm, at All Faiths Funeral Home, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville, Wisconsin. All Faiths Funeral and Cremation Services of Janesville, Wisconsin is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at: www.866allfaiths.com
