Our thoughts and prayers are with John and the Maxfeldt family at this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure to work with John at Lakeshore Technical College and found John to be a positive and joy filled individual. John will forever be a part of our memory and in our prayers.

JOHN, I tried to make an entry yesterday, but it got lost in the computer. Your new adventures have begun.
I will miss knowing you, for awhile, until I catch up with you. Take your leather coat with you. Follow the trees to your new adventures. Your cousin Arne of Idaho.

Our sympathy to the Maxfeldt Family. John was a special person. He would never walk by without saying something. He always was upbeat and had a positive personality. I was proud to call him my friend and able to work with him at LTC.
Until we meet again my friend.

John and I have been friends for 60 years. We met in 1957 in the fall of our sophomore year. We shared a few adventures in our younger years, especially one or two in Door County. I remember particularly John's sense of humor and his laugh. He was a caring men and had great love for his wife, Eunie, his children, grand-children and his friends. I was honored to be one of his many friends. I will miss him, but I know I will see him again in heaven.
