McCaffety family and friends, please accept all the thoughts and prayers from the Texas Mutual family David worked with for so many years. He was our friend and ally. He always, always did what was best for us and always, always gave the best advise. We will miss his smile and his visits. He was a genuine great guy.

I never had the opportunity of meeting David but I know from the every day stories when JD Baker (his partner at Central Texas Fire Protection) would come home, that he was one amazing man. Our family is very sad to hear about his loss but promise to carry on his traits in our own way. We will continue to pray for the family. Our deepest condolences. -Brittany Powell and JD Baker

To McCaffety family - I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Mr. McCaffety for a moment, but I have to say I thought he was a very kind-hearted and good man. I recently experienced my first fire alarm. Within minutes I received a call from Mr. McCaffety who with this calming voice walked me through the event. He instantly made me feel so at ease. Later he arrived on site and I had the honor of meeting him. I pray you find peace during this time.

David has always been "special" to all who knew him best. I had the honor of being his Father. He always excelled at anything he set his mind to do. Those who knew him best will be quick to say he was a good man, a good husband, a good father, a good grand-father, a good brother and a good son. I remember telling him about a year ago that I was proud of him and what he had accomplished thus far in his life. I never was told that and I wanted to make sure he was. He is gone to be with the Lord and he is out of my sight but he will never be out of heart and thoughts. I love you David and words cannot express how much you are and will continue to be missed.

Dear McCaffety family,
I am shocked and saddened by the loss of David. Your entire family is one of the sweetest and warm hearted families I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Your generosity and thoughtfulness always amazed me. I feel very fortunate to have had David and the family in my life. My heart goes out to Morgan. I send all my love.

McCafferty family... I am so sorry for you loss. I knew David as a customer and he was kind, funny, reliable, and trustworthy. The love and pride he had for his children was evident in the many stories he shared over the years. Praying for peace and comfort for your family.

A good, happy man -- kind and supportive. So sorry for your loss and his gain. May you sense the Lord's presence in your life as you endure the sorrow and emptiness left behind. "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you." Isaiah 54:10

Having worked with David over the last 10+ years I had a chance to know this wonderful man. He worked hard, was always on time and always had a smile for our office and tenants. He always took the time to visit for a few minutes and had great stories of his family and friends. I want his family to know that he adored you and loved you dearly. David was a special person and I will miss him.

I knew David through our common Brentwood Christian School commitments. Our boys played soccer together and graduated from BCS. I also had the pleasure of seeing David at Texas Mutual when he got the contract to provide our Fire Control Upgrades and ongoing Maintenance. His integrity was impeccable. I am so sorry for your loss. Our prayers go out for Lorena, Tommy and Niky.

To David's family...I knew this cordial man through hunting. He was always friendly and willing to lend a hand to a neighbor in need. I very much enjoyed visiting him and Lorena on the front porch of their hunting cabin. He shared his love of the outdoors with me and I with him. I will miss him...and always remember his candor and how being at the cabin brought out a relaxed demeanor and his sense of humor. I thank God for the privilege of knowing him and enjoying his company.
