My deepest sympathies to the family in your time of loss for your loved one. A very nice and kind gentleman who always had a smile and pleasant greeting for you whenever you saw him. My prayers for you all are of comforting grace today and for the days to come.

Lieutenant Colonel John McClure was a true patriot, outstanding boilermaker and good friend. I had the privilege of working with John at Bull Run and Kingston for many years. He was an example to everyone he came in contact with. We had many thoughtful conversations over the years, and I learned much from John. Rest in peace, my friend, and may God comfort your friends and family in their grief at your passing.
