John C McHaney IV, born Providence, Rhode Island to John (Jack) C. and Ruth (Oldham) Aug 29, 1945. He was proceeded in death by his father, John C. 'Jack' McHaney III and step-Mother Billie (Thomilson) Elam - McHaney of Memphis TN, mother Ruth Oldham of Shreveport LA and sister Marsha (McHaney) Davidson-Rockett of Tazwell VA, his in-laws Jack R. and Mary Louise (Fultz) Mosteller, Broken Arrow OK, his Grandparents John C. and Ruby(Gattis) McHaney of Blytheville AR. John is survived by his wife of 50yrs Marilyn (Mosteller) McHaney, Broken Arrow OK, son John C. McHaney V and wife Susana and granddaughter Ashlynn McHaney, Tucson AZ. He served in Germany with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. After graduating from Memphis State, Memphis TN he was employed by Argico Chemical Co in Tulsa OK and Gramercy LA. Later to became Mac MoRan-Freeport. John and Marilyn returned to OK and resided in Park Hill. Later moving to Tucson AZ for 25 years and recently returning to Broken Arrow. John loved reading, building and flying remote control airplanes and riding his BMW motorcycle with his wife and son. He peacefully passed in his sleep at home.
