John T. McNeil II, age 66, passed away at CHI Health Bergan Mercy on June 18, 2025.
He was born October 31, 1958, to the late John "Jack" and Barbara (Cain) McNeil in Council Bluffs, IA. John graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1977 and then was a carpenter with Local #427. He and his late wife, Doreen owned and operated the Pink Poodle for many years. John was an avid waterfowler and outdoorsman. At one time, he also served on the Crescent Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doreen McNeil; brother, James McNeil; step-father, Gene Crowder; and aunt, Sandra McNeil.
John is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, John & Ashley McNeil III, Joseph & Jennifer McNeil, and Joshua & Ellie McNeil; sister, Melanie McNeil; 9 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, June 23, 2025. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
