Miano, John of Arlington, died on April 21, 2025. Beloved husband of Rosemarie (Salipante) Miano. Devoted father of Jack Miano and his wife Denise of Tewksbury, Mark Miano of Woburn, Cynthia Pessinis and her husband Karl of Newbury and Stephen Miano of Arlington. Loving grandfather of David Miano and his wife Jamie, Nicholas Miano, Anthony Miano, Luke Pessinis and his wife Brooke, Mark Pessinis and Matthew Pessinis. Dear great grandfather of Molly Miano. Brother of Mary DiClemente of Cambridge and the late Romeo, Albert, Juliet, Frank, Joseph, Anthony and Virginia. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family. Son of the late Otto and Rose (Cicala) Miano. John was a Korean War Army Veteran who received the Bronze Star and was a retired Federal Security Police Officer.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 am and to his funeral mass at 11:30 am in St. Agnes Church. Burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of John to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1702 E. Highland Ave., Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
