WATERTOWN- Brendan J. Robert, 38, of Watertown, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
Brendan was born in Waterbury on February 5, 1988. He was the beloved son of Diana L. Carroll of Watertown and John Robert of Delaware.
Besides his parents, Brendan leaves his sister, Katherine C. Robert; and daughter and pride and joy, Riley K. Robert. He also leaves his aunts, Deborah A. Carroll and Doreen M. Carroll; and his maternal grandfather, Richard P. Carroll and his wife, Rita. Last but not least, he leaves his three closest friends, Matthew Ciullo, Matthew Ciminera and Sean Nolan. Along with his immediate family, they were his closest family later in life.
Brendan was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Reno "Poppy", Agnes and Rose "Meme" Robert. His paternal grandparents had the most profound influence on Brendan in his younger years. He was also predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Rosemarie Veronica Kaczmark; and his uncle, Dr. John Varanelli.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 574 Main St., Watertown. There are no calling hours. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet directly at church, Thursday morning. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., Watertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Brendan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
