Of North Braddock, age 71, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, following a courageous fight with prostate cancer.

Born the son of the late Thomas Mizerski and the late Catherine "Kitty" (Ferguson) Mizerski.

Beloved husband of Debra (Frazier) Mizerski for 38 years.

Loving father of Sean (Karyn Drombosky) Mizerski of Crafton and Emily (Adam Patsy) Mizerski of Monessen.

Dear brother of the late James "Jim" (the late Anna) Mizerski.

Brother-in-law of Brenda L. (Kevin) Grabowski and Don L. (Paula Gilmore) Frazier.

Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and his dog, Gracie.

Jack was raised in the Brookline neighborhood of the city of Pittsburgh and was a graduate of South Hills High School. He worked for over 35 years as a telephone operator for the Pittsburgh offices of AT&T, and was a proud member of the Communication Workers of America Union (CWA). He enjoyed driving buses for Community Life and P.R.N. Transit, where he shuttled the elderly to local destinations throughout the east end of Pittsburgh. Through his years of driving, Jack gained countless friendships with people from all walks of life. He loved listening to music, attending local concerts, reading books, and listening to audio books. Family and friends remember the bold statements Jack loved to make with his graphic and tie-dyed t-shirts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m.in the Carnegie One (formerly known as the Braddock Carnegie Library), 419 Library St., Braddock, PA 15104.

Arrangements are entrusted to Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800.
