John Mocha Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel in Walterboro. The Reverend Gerald Mabry will officiate the service, and the family will receive friends at 2 pm. Interment will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
John Edward Mocha was born on November 8, 1930. He attended Virginia Tech and the University of Florida and served in the Virginia Air National Guard. He worked as a Forester and Nursery and Tree Improvement Supervisor.
John Edward Mocha is survived by his daughter, Letty Beatty, and his sons, John V. Mocha and Mark Mocha. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Grey Agee, his father, John Paul Mocha, and his mother, Alice B Dvorak.
