His journey was not without challenges; despite battling his mental illness throughout his life, John maintained a fulfilling and independent life. His quiet, shy nature belied a caring spirit that touched everyone he met.John's career was as diverse as his interests. John's earliest career was working at his father's Collision Repair shop, R&B Auto Body. He also worked for Okay Auto Body doing collision repairs. It was his life-long work as a taxi cab driver that truly reflected his warm and compassionate nature, connecting him with people from all walks of life. He drove a cab from the mid 1990's until his passing. He was preceded in death by his father, John Charles Moreno Sr., and is survived by his mother; Elizabeth Ann Moreno, his brothers, Michael Moreno and Steven Moreno.
