John C. Morgan, born on February 4, 1944, in Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at Kingston of Miamisburg, surrounded by his loving family.
John devoted a significant part of his professional life to ARA Services, retiring after an impressive 32 years. Following his tenure there, he ran his own business, Morgan Mechanical, for over 20 years, where his work was characterized by integrity and commitment. John was proud of the contributions he made through his various roles, consistently exemplifying a strong work ethic and dedication.
John cherished the time he spent with his family. He found immense joy in connecting with his grandchildren, often taking them on delightful rides on the lawnmower, creating countless cherished memories. His love for relaxation was complemented by his affection for his dog, Angel, who was a constant companion and source of comfort. John’s playful nature shone through in his daily life, as he was known for always teasing people and bringing laughter to those around him.
He is survived by his beloved sons, John (Pam) Morgan and Steve (Polly) Morgan. John was a proud grandfather to Amanda (Christopher) Rollins, Craig Carter, Ciara Morgan (Jake Gibson), and Jake, Dustin, Jordon, Dillon Brown, and DJ Colley. Additionally, he left behind a legacy of great-grandchildren, including Jace Langdon, Sawyer and Gabriella Gibson, Alayna and JJ Brown, and Jace, Ryder, and Realynn Williams. John is also survived by his sister, Lucille Jones, and his brother, Ed (Ingrid) Morgan.
John was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Karen Morgan, his parents, John and Rose (Smith) Morgan, his brother, Peter Morgan, and his sister, Nettie Smith. The love he fostered during his life resonates strongly in the hearts of those who survive him.
Friends and family are invited to honor John's memory during visitation on December 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arpp, Root, Carter Funeral Home, 29 N. Main Street, Germantown, OH 45327. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow at Trissel Cemetery in New Lebanon, OH.
John C. Morgan will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the warmth and joy he brought into the lives of so many. His legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will be cherished for generations to come.
