Julie,
John was one of a kind, but then you already know that! His love for you was present in every conversation we ever had over the 11 years I worked with him. I loved hearing what you guys had been up to, where you'd hiked, what you'd seen, and where you'd been. He loved his life and he loved you, making it all the more sad that he is gone too soon. I am thinking of you and your family at this sad time. May John forever rest in peace, and may you Julie find peace in time.
With my sincerest condolences for your loss.

John was comfort in human form. His presence immediately settled you, his way of lightening a moment made you feel at ease, and when you got him to laugh you felt like you won a million dollars. John, I love you buddy. Outstanding people in our lives are outstanding for a reason and there are many reasons why you´ll always be remembered.

John's deep voice and dry wit will resonate here at Exeter Hospital, our shared work place, for many years to come. His humor never prevented our sensing how deeply he truly cared. May he find peace. He will be missed.
