John "Johnny" Francis Mruk

April 26, 1967 - March 21, 2025

John "Johnny" Francis Mruk of Crescent, IA, lost his battle with cancer on March 21, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA and created a void that can never be filled.

Born at Bergan Mercy Hospital, Omaha, NE, on April 26, 1967, John was raised by his loving family in South Omaha.

His father, Francis "Frank" John and his mother, Dolores Ann (Zbylut) Mruk, as well as his sister, Carol Murillo precedes him in death

Survived by his sister, Lynne Hess (Jay Rush); his loving family, Nicole, Hannah and Caster, his Pools Plus family and a multitude of family, friends, and customers that all meant the world to him.

John was a fixture in the metro area pool and spa industry for most of his adult life and his presence and extensive knowledge will be greatly missed at Pools Plus.

His passions included his many beloved pets, Patriots football, casinos, traveling, karaoke, Elvis, his home in Crescent and his many friends and family.

To know him was to love him.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life. Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 12 to 3 p.m., at Legends Patio Grill and Bar, Aksarben 6920 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68106, food will be provided.
