John Nerness Obituary
A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Mr. Nerness was born November 02, 1942 in Meriden, Connecticut. He was the former owner of Aquarius Pools and the owner of Clearwater Pools in Columbus, Ga. He and his wife Mary loved to travel and spend time at their condo in Destin, FL. He also was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing.
Other than his parents, Mr. Nerness was preceded in death by his son Christopher Newton and his son-in-law Kevin Robinson.
Survivors include his wife Mary Nerness of Hamilton, Georgia; his daughters, Denise Antinori (Ron) of Atlanta, Georgia, Lori Brazie (Rob) of Columbus, Georgia, Terri Ogle of Hamilton, Georgia, Emily Urbina (Mario) of Columbus, Georgia, Caryn Lee (Blake) of Ellerslie, Georgia, his sister, Dorothy Ballestero (Manual) of Hilton Head, South Carolina, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society 233 W 12th St STE 710 Columbus, Georgia 31901 or www.cancer.org
