John Kenneth "Ken" Neuhauser

John Kenneth "Ken" Neuhauser, 86, of West Chester, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Born in Ridley Park, PA, Ken was the son of the late Warren and Mary Ellen (Houder) Neuhauser. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Woodard) Neuhauser, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.

Ken proudly served in the United States Navy. He began his professional career at Downingtown Iron Works, followed by many years at Bentley Harris in Exton, and later owned Wright's Deli in Eagle. He was also a co-founder of Atlantex Manufacturing in Kennett Square. Ken enjoyed shooting pool at Coatesville Moose Lodge 297, driving race car #40 at Grandview Speedway, traveling, fly-fishing, and painting.

In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his children: Jeff Neuhauser (Faye Dollar) of New Holland, PA; Bruce Ford (Stephanie) of Honey Brook, PA; Michael Ford (Dawn) of West Chester, PA; and Adam Neuhauser of Mifflinburg. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Barbara Neuhauser.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Amos Edward Neuhauser and Robert Neuhauser (Carol).

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home: 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
