I had the pleasure of knowing John for many years through Boy Scouts. He taught me everything I know about the great outdoors and helped me become the person I am today. He always had a great sense of humor and was willing to help out whenever needed. He was a true role model and I am grateful I got to know him. He will greatly be missed.
