John O'Meara Obituary

John O'Meara
August 23, 2025
John Daniel "OZ" O'Meara passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
John was a devoted family man. He graduated from Rippowam High School in Stamford in 1973 and went on to work at Triple S Carpet for 44 years. An avid athlete, he was a star quarterback for his high school football program as well as many baseball teams – including being part of many championships. His favorite team was the legendary Gypsy softball team. He loved being with the boys, playing softball and having a few cold beers.
John was predeceased by his wife, Jennifer, his father, Robert O'Meara, and his brothers, James O'Meara and Capt. Robert C. O'Meara. He leaves behind his beloved children, Amanda, Dallas and Dylan. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Joan O'Meara, his siblings: sister, Denise D'Acunto and husband, Frank, and brothers, Brian O'Meara, Edward O'Meara (Debbie). He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Anne Parana, sisters-in-law, Kim O'Meara and Diana O'Meara, and many nieces and nephews.
