John Paben Obituary
John Paben AKA "the voice"., 75, of Kersey passed away on April 14, 2022.
John was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Joseph and Antonia on February 25, 1947. He married the love of his life Lucille "Lucy" Paben on April 27,1970.
Besides his family, John loved to paddle fish in Montana and Wyoming with his brother Jim and family, John and Lucy spent a great deal of time also fishing for Brook trout in Glenn Haven, Colorado at Lucy's family cabin. He worked most of his life running heavy equipment, which he loved to share his stories. You could always find John with Coors light in one hand and a cigarette in another.
John is survived by his ; daughter Dawn Marie Taylor, Daughter Joleen and Chris Shults, Sister Phylis Woodard. Nephew Clayton Paben, Grandchildren; Demi, Michael, Samantha and a large loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents joseph and Antonia Paben, brothers Jim, Tom, Jerry and infant brother, sister Judy Paben.
In Leu of flowers your contributions will be donated to Fair Acres Manor for new patio furniture. John spent most of his time there for the past nine months. Your contributions can be made to Dawn Taylor.
A celebration of life will be held summer of 2022.
