John embarked on a remarkable journey from Dimitsana, Greece, as a young man, where he began a beautiful new chapter in his life alongside his beloved Mariana. His life's journey led him to the heart of the restaurant industry, where he dedicated decades of hard work, culminating in the ownership of John's Diner in Lakewood for over 45 years.
Throughout his rich and vibrant life, John was surrounded by family and many friends who loved him, because he was so easy to love. His big personality drew you in, and his contagious laughter made you want to stay.
Thank you Dad for your extraordinary love and for sharing with us your beautiful life. Spending each day with you was a gift, and we are eternally grateful.
He was always our Father, who also became our Best Friend. He will forevermore be our Hero.
We Love you always. We will miss you forever.
Funeral Service Monday, June 17,2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22909 Center Ridge Rd. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.

so sorry for your loss i worked for your family for 13 years first at harvard lunch and the diner. and eventually to george´s i even had the pleasure of knowing your grandparents and your beautiful mother john would always light up when he shared stories about you all working with him was a lot of fun he always made laugh and was very entertaining it was an honor and a pleasure to have known him
