Born in Gilman, WI to John and Marie, John was one of 8 siblings: Mary Ann, Betty Ann (deceased), Steve (deceased), Diane, Tom (deceased), Donna, and Theresa.
John was the beloved husband of Patricia Pawlik, loving father of Justin (Marcia) Pawlik and Brian (Marissa) Pawlik and cherished grandfather of Sophie, Sarah, John, Kellan and Makayla.
He was a proud U.S. Marine veteran and respected metallurgical engineer. An accomplished athlete in his younger years, John loved fishing and golf. In his later years, he spent much of his time working around the house or working on his golf game at the driving range or on the course. More than anything, however, John loved to spend time with his grandkids – teaching, playing games and telling jokes. He imparted the value of education, strong work ethic, and providing for his family – a legacy that will continue to live on through them.
John had many chapters of his life and made a mark on all who knew him. His memory will be treasured forever. Private services will be held at this time.
