John Pearman Obituary

John Robert Pearman, aged 76, unexpectedly passed away on April 25, 2025, at St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart, Indiana. He was a resident of Crown Point and lived in Lake County, Indiana all his life. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
John was born on September 20, 1948, at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Gary, Indiana. He attended St. Bridget School in Hobart and graduated from River Forest High School in 1967. During the Vietnam War, John was a decorated U.S. Army Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic involved in recovery and repair operations. His professional career spanned nearly 50 years and encompassed all aspects of industrial mechanical engineering. He was sought out globally for his expert opinion.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Additional visitation will be on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 3530 Illinois St, Hobart, IN 46342 from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dunes Dog Club of Hebron - Pets N Vets program.
