John Randolph Pearson

John Randolph Pearson, of Penrose, CO., was called home by the Lord on December 22, 2025. John was born in Denver, CO., on November 4, 1954, to John W. and Ruth C. Pearson. He graduated from Adam City High School in 1973. He enjoyed stock car racing and going to stock car races.

He married his first wife, Jeannie and had a beautiful little girl, Jennifer. John later moved to Canon City and drove big truck for Ary Bros., then following in his dad's footsteps; he went to work for Berta's until the late 80's early 90's. When Ed Tezak bought out Joe and Earl Berta,he drove for Tezak trucking for many years. He then moved to waste management as a Roll Off Driver/Truck Boss. John concluded his truck driving career with Mike Vanderberg.

In July of 1978, John met and married the love of his life, Fay Pearson. They were married in Taos, NM. Together John and Fay raised five wonderful children; Tom (Diana) Cameron, Don (Michelle) Cameron, Melissa Pearson-Bamber, Cecil (Michelle), and Jennifer (Alex) Swider. John was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren- whom he loved, cherished and adored.

John is survived by his five children, his uncle Jim Martinez, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Ray Mock, Jerry and Cindy Fay, Jack and Tami Fay, Jim and Lori Fay, and many cousins.

John is preceded in death by his loving wife Fay Pearson, Ruth C. Pearson (mom), John W. Pearson (dad), his maternal grandparents, George and Maude Pearson, Katherine Lynn Cameron-Pierson (granddaughter), and Matthew Axel Mock (great grandson).

John had a very deep love for his family and strong faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. He also held deep belief in his country.

A Celebration of John's Life will be held at Praise Community Church 215 W. Pikes Peak Ave, Florence Co, 81226 on February 7th at 1:00pm with a reception to follow.
