John Steven Peebles, age 72, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on September 15, 2024. He was born on October 28, 1951, in Terra Haute, Indiana a son of Arlin and Ruth Peebles.
He is preceded by his wife; Sharon Peebles, brothers; Mike Peebles & Chris Peebles.He leaves behind to cherish his memory; son, John Peebles; daughter, Leslie Nordstrom; mother; Ruth, brother; Bill & sister-in-law Martha Peebles, sister; Linda & brother-in-law Mark Holt, three grandchildren; Patricia, Kora & Maria and many nieces & nephews. Also, his bonus kids; Deon, Joslin, Katey, Richard, Robin & grandchildren; Braydon, Bryleigh & Grason.
A service is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville at 1 P.M.“I'd like to teach the world to sing/In perfect harmony/I'd like to buy the world a Coke/And keep it company.-Coca-Cola's "Hilltop" commercial
