William Peebles Obituary
He was born on February 22, 1941 in Gadsden, Alabama, the son of Robert B. and Edith L (Newbauer) Peebles and later served his country honorably in The United States Marine Corps.
William retired from Delco Battery Division of General Motors after thirty-four years of service.
Bill was an avid golfer and loved his time spent at Crestview. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with his many vacations to Charleston, South Carolina.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Terri Peebles; children, Rob Mallory (Andrea) and Tracy Overla (James); grandchildren, Lauren Mallory and Travon Stewart; a sister, Elizabeth Mendenhall (Raymond); along with four nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public services and cremation will take place.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com.

Terri and family, so sorry about your loss. Through the Skill Center at Delco Battery, I became friends with Bill and you too Terri. We had many discussions about many topics. He could be counted on for a smile and a laugh. Prayers for comfort. Blessings, Bev Dowling

I worked at Delco Battery and worked with Bill a few times-I always enjoyed his talks we were the same age! Sorry for the family´s loss-Prayers your way!
