John Michael Persico, 60, of Plantation, Florida passed peacefully into the arms of Our Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years , Sonia Persico, sons Anthony Persico, Andre Husbands, and grandchildren Jasmine and Jayden Husbands.
Born in North Miami Beach, Florida, John was the youngest of four children from his parents Joseph and Doris Persico. He is survived by his elder siblings, Barbara Davis of West Palm Beach, Florida; Debora Allan-Bailey of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Joseph Persico Jr. of South Carolina.

John graduated from North Miami Beach High School in 1983 and continued his education at F. I. U. University in Tampa, Florida.

Upon graduating, he became an accountant for various companies before settling with Community Blood Centers of South Florida, where he worked his way up to Director and Vice President for many years.

Taking his experience in business management,

John made the decision to channel it into a new and exciting career path and opened up a family business as owner of the extremely successful Froots Sheridan Smoothie and Sandwich Shop , along with his wife Sonia and son Anthony.

John hails from a very large and extensive Italian family from both parents with whom he has always maintained extremely close and loving connections.

John will be remembered as a hard-working, kind-hearted, thoughtful and loving man, not just by family, but by the lifelong friendships he maintained and lives he impacted from elementary school up to present day.

John 's love for his family was always his singular, most important priority. He lived and loved from his heart
