As fellow parishioners at St. Benedict's & neighbors on Continental Ave., we followed Dr. John's progress in his medical field & marriage to Evelyn. My folks & their 3 sons were good friends with the Kamen family. Dr. John always treated everyone with kindness & care they deserved. May Our Lord Grant him Everlasting Peace & Happiness+++

My deepest sympathy to the Plucinsky family.
"A caregivers love"
Starting off as a caregiver, you are strangers to one another. Over the years, you become friends, and maybe confidants. Caring for Dr John Plucinsky (Doc) for five years, gave me the opportunity to have more than a caregiver/client relationship. We became like family. We knew each other well. Doc knew when something was troubling me and I knew the same of him. He knew when I needed my space and I knew when he needed his.
He loved his music and every day he read the daily newspaper, and shared the joke of the day. (Sometimes three or four times). He loved his family and spoke highly of them. He was a proud father and grandfather, and was very proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments, as he often reminded me.
Yet in the mist of it all, there seemed to be a calmness, when the darkest hour had passed, and the sun was Just above the horizon, your loved one was cradled in the arms of God, a soft whisper saying
" Come home my child, you have been faithful, your service here has been fulfilled."
My heart is broken now that Doc is gone, but I´m thankful I had the chance to know him.
RIP my dear friend you will be truly missed.

I knew Dr. John Plucinsky from working as an RN on 2 Main at St. Alexis Hospital and it was a pleasure to see him when he visited his patients. He was always respectful to them, the nurses and the rest of the Staff. Deepest sympathies to the Plucinsky family. May he rest in peace.
